Kusina's Story

The concept of  Kusina Filipino was inspired by my mother-in-law, Asuncion Perea. She is a very loving mother to her children and a great cook.  Ed grew up cooking side by side with his mom. Over the years, Ed learned my mother-in-law's home-cooked recipes and cooking became Ed's passion. Before my mother-in-law was diagnosed with Dementia, Ed was fortunate enough to learn the majority of her cooking. We love sharing our food with our family and friends. We wanted to continue sharing it with the Edmonton Community by opening up Kusina Filipino.

Our family loves to help, and the charity began back home. The success of Kusina Filipino will not only help our family but also the less fortunate people in the Philippines.

We thank you in advance for your support in this endeavor
